The Greater Washington DC Farmers Markets Begin in April!

What is a microgreen? A microgreen is a young vegetable green about 1-3 inches tall. The veggies have concentrated nutrient content and come in a variety of colors and flavors. Some of the microgreens, like basil and sorrel, are very aromatic.
If you are unable to visit the markets, Metro Microgreens will ship hydroponic microgreens anywhere in the continental U.S. Visit the website www.metromicrogreens.com to order. Some of the varieties of microgreens include; pea shoots, garlic chives, broccoli, fennel, carrots, radish, wheatgrass, sunflowers, red leaf mustard, cilantro, leeks, and bok choi.
