A Gorgeous Winter Sunset in Carlsbad March 2019
Yesterday was a beautiful day - clear and sunny from early in the morning - with temperatures in the mid 70s, the warmest day we've had in some time.
Terramar Beach, Carlsbad
We had dinner reservations at 7:30 at Paon (French for peacock), an upscale restaurant in Carlsbad Village, and decided to go early to take in the sunset views along the coast.
As expected the crowds were out, lined up along the bluffs, with most of the parking spaces along the coast road taken, at restaurants that have views, and on balconies at the oceanfront homes and condos, aanticipating a stunning sunset...and it was.
We parked by Terramar Beach and enjoyed some amazing views, and a fellow down on the beach playing his guitar while HE watched the sunset.
