B.T. Marketing (Before Tech)

I am in a slow down. People around me are busy but I am in a slow down. I think this is the first slow down of my career and I have been doing loans since 1968. Recently I have tried almost everything in marketing and nothing is turning my business around so this morning I thought I am going to B.T. Marketing. 

 

B.T.  When I started I would do four things and do them consistently. (1) I was a member of a network group (2) sent 5 hand written notes a day (3) sent a monthly part business and part personal newsletter and (4) found a way to S.T.P. (see twenty people ) Belly to Belly every day. Found this idea in a Tom Hopkins book and it is really the way; a way to go. I structured it differently so that my S.T.P. included phone calls and emails that were continuing communication and specific. -- Just remembered I also wore a name badge everywhere. Remembering now that the S.T.P. came later. But it is all B.T. Marketing and I am going back.

 

The above are the action items I would do and now will do but there was also the mental side. I would do what Science of Mind calls a 'Treatment' (prayer) and visualize outcomes. This ALWAYS worked for me and I have noticed that I have gotten  a bit lazy on the mental side. Recently I was amazed by the studies on E.F.T. (Emotional Freedom Technique) mentioned in the book Mind to Matter. So along with the action steps I will incorporate (1) EFT, (2) Visualize), (3) Affirmations and 'Treatment'. I was doing these things B.T.; they worked then and will work now. It is just a matter of discipline.

So I am going back to B.T. Once last note. When I was teaching my Sales Magic class I mentioned to a Dale Carnegie Sales Instructor the book I was using for the class core and she mentioned "but that's old."  I replied, "the Bible is old but people still read it" So, B.T. here I come.
