HELLO Friends and especially Patricia Feager,
I have retired from selling real estate on commission. I am saying it this way because I will be keeping my broker's license always and maybe doing some investment real estate and remodeling projects in the future. I love real estate and have enjoyed my offices and working with clients and agents throughout my 40 years of being in the business.
It is time for me to do something else and one of my goals has always been to write.
I have moved from my beloved Texas to Northern Michigan. I love fishing, as all my friends know. I love Corpus Christi for the great fishing that is there and of course, the wonderful Texas Hill Country. There is such beauty there with the clear streams and rivers that flow past enormous bald cypress trees dipping their roots in the cool water.

I have traded all this for an evergreen forest dotted with sugar maples and an array of wildlife that tickles my binoculars that sit on the window sill. Fresh water lakes abound almost within walking distance of my new home. Snow cover and privacy lends itself to peaceful writing days. I hope to take good advantage of this opportunity to write the things that have been stored up for such a long time.
I have just published my first book on Amazon.
Finally A Broker is a guide to opening your own real estate office. I have included many stories of triumphs and failures. I hope you will enjoy reading it and be able to use some of my advice and experiences to help you in your business.
We learn from one another and I hope this book can help many to avoid some of the mistakes I made over the years. I look forward to hearing from you after you read it, please let me know if it helps.
