Housing Market
Statistics showed a decrease in sold volume, number of sales, and median sales price from February 2018 to February 2019. Number of sales decreased from 203 in February 2018 to 163 in February 2019. Median price decreased from $330,000 in February 2018 to $327,750 in February 2019. Average days on the market for almost all homes and all price range in February 2019 were longer than in 2018.
This showed that the housing market in February 2019 was slower than in February 2018. However, even when it’s slower, Plano still has a very healthy real estate market. On average, homes were sold in about 2 months. This is still an indication of a strong seller’s market.
