ADVOCATE FOR BUSINESS WITH THE COUNTY LEGISLATORS

The Business Council of Westchester has an active legislative advocacy agenda for the county, state, and federal government. The advocacy is for the business community of Westchester County New York.

Tomorrow evening we will be meeting with the Westchester County Legislators.

Westchester County Legislators

In 2018, the Westchester Board of Legislators passed legislation that directly impacted our business. That is why it is critical that we have the opportunity to meet with these policymakers at the BCW's exclusive Board of Legislator's reception.

 

Date: Thursday, March 21st  

Time: 6:00-8:00 PM 

Location: C.V. Rich Mansion, White Plains

Free to all BCW Members

Endre Barath, Jr. -  glad you asked.  They were polite but were great buck passers.  "Why doesn't the government at all levels run like business and adjust exprenses rather than raising taxes?"  Didn't answer.  Talked instead about their portion of the property taxes being much smaller than the school taxes.  While the school taxes are high their portion is high enough..  I guess the word is accountability.  You and I understand it but they don't!
