We market to enable homeowners to find us. We market their listings after they list with us. Real estate is all about marketing, if you’re a listing agent. The homeowners see us offline to address their concerns and interest in selling a home, and remember our marketing when we promote the listings that fill our shelves.
What’s the litmus test for real estate agents? How are we measured, and how do we improve our results? The answer is “Marketing Like We Mean It.” We must mean it in the same manner as the future seller expects to witness it with their own home.
Homeowners who are thinking about selling and/or purchasing another home will judge you by how you market. If you have not lost a listing to another agent, your marketing is working as it should.
