I have a client who comes along once in a great while who just wants everything to go and show well in the selling of his home. Making repairs ahead of time without being told, landscaping at a premium and professionally cleaned and photo-graphed including drone coverage too. Furthermore, he is researching the neighborhood to get a feel for pricing and days on market and wants to come out of the gate a winner
WHY DO YOU NEED ME?
Lets get right to this subject because you can't help think it. Why me and not you? He does not want a fool for a client for one thing. For another, he is wanting my professional approval, validation, feedback & input non-stop. That means my time is his. While he is gifted in moving things forward & being pro-active he has not entered into the Real Estate trenches! He is smart enough to know that is where it gets dicey
ITS TRUE TEAMWORK
This man knows his limitations and risk levels. Where he has exceeded he stands out and where he has not been before he seeks counsel or consultation. Wise man indeed as we all do this and is seen in the medical, legal and accounting fields easily. We all have something to contribute but let's honor forte, skills and pursuit of end result as we recognize there are many ways to get something done. Results are the target...!!
MY NEXT THOUGHT APPEARED
Look, I don't mind reducing my fees for the extraordinary efforts and monies spent by the seller as it is only fair and we all still win. Remember, a win is a win and where people get hung-up is in HOW-MUCH they win instead of logging a win. So, I pro-rated myself, assessed and analyzed and came up with a value figure
NO I WON'T HAVE IT
My client refused the customization and personal attention I was introducing in the name of fair-ness and wanted nothing to do with it. He firmly believed in my value & just because he wanted to do all these things & have me in stasis is no reason to diminish my professional worth. I argued. He rejected. I gave-in
A PERSON'S PERSONAL STOCK
Occasionally I find people who are truly worthy of mention, who give good results without asking, exceed expectations and go beyond money incentives. Why do they do this? For one, they love what they do. For another, they like using their own skills bank and who can deny the passion driving it all? Very satisfying
WHAT THIS DOES FOR ME
I believe in give and take. I like seeing others come into their good fortune and prosperity knowing full well we all get it in due time many times over. When my "ship" comes in, I make a mental note to help other peoples ships find safe harbor and dock accordingly. I am always looking for my time to give...to give back
I KNOW HOW IT ALL WILL END
You can see this before it happens because it is in the air. Everyone connected to this "deal/sale" will prosper and do well without exception. More than just money will change hands or good business take place. This is about the Universal principals i.e. not only the do unto others but the measure you use on others is the measure than will be used on you....
IS IT ABOUT REAL ESTATE ONLY?
Those in the business already have discovered that it is about people first then business. When you see this upfront or have a hand in it personally, it enters deep within you making for good character and more. People have the power to bless or curse and we do well to be reminded about it until we eliminate the "curse" part
SETTING THE EXAMPLE
Someone has to do it and the many should follow. Charity or true giving is no mere word when legs (action) are added to it. It goes beyond words and becomes something greater pulling up those who believe and practice these principals. The "human" bar is raised, hope unleashed and prosperity not unlike seen at Christmastime is practiced
Imagine a world where peace, prosperity, fairness, abundance and goodwill is the norm? Those that haven't discovered it are the small exception to this rule but not for long for it was and is meant for all mankind to prosper. Anything less was never meant to be but instead is an intruder dynamic. Deny this!
Thank you (literally)
