Changing Market

For years it's been a sellers market here in southeast Florida. That is beginning to change. For many sellers that will mean they will be bumped into the overpriced catagory. More and more inventory will enter the market giving buyers more choices. If a seller is not priced properly, buyers will pass them by.

Homes are taking longer to sell compared to the fast paced we saw in earlier months.In the Crossings of Coral Springs sale prices are now between $300 to $400. In Westchester the recent sales range between $340 and $390, in the Coral Springs Country Club they are between $262 and $400. And in North Springs $400 to $515. 

These are the numbers at the time of this article, that is subject to change tomorrow, give or take some. If you're considering selling your home right now, hire a realtor that is studying the market and is well in tune with what's going on. Staying on the market too long, not selling, is wasting precious time. What you can get for your property today will be more than you can get six months from now. And you want to BE in the market, not chase it!

There is definitely a change in the market but each area seems to be experiencing different dynamics and trends. It will be interesting to see how this plays out for the rest of the year.

However, I've decided to go back to my old habits of writing a blog post every day, even if it's short and lacking much content.
