Wordless Wednesday...Hope

We were able to get back to our routine of early morning walks recently. It has been so much fun seeing the trees wake from their winter sleep. There are buds and small blooms everywhere.

I happened upon this small tree and looked up. One word came to my mind...HOPE.

This, I think, is why we all welcome Spring with open arms for it is the new life that its rains and warm temperatures bring. It is a hope for a fresh beginning after the cold grey skies of winter.

The sky takes on shades of orange during sunrise and sunset, the colour that gives you hope that the sun will set only to rise again. Ram Charan

Hello Kathy - "hope" can manifest itself in so many ways.  Some are more subtle and others not so much.  Kinda like when March enters like a lion snd exits like a lamb.  Sometimes true.  Sometimes not.

That's an incredibly beautiful photo, Kathy!  And, yes, it does remind me of hope.  The sunrise, a dawning of a new day, in the first days of spring.  Buds will appear on that tree before long. . .Life begins anew!

Michael Jacobs ahhh and there can be false hope given to us...sometimes by that groundhog that gives us hope for an early spring.

Myrl Jeffcoat thank you!!!  It's been a huge change taking pics of something other than palm trees.

While your walks may have started up again, I'll bet the scenery is not the same.
