Big Houses for Sale Clermont FL March 2019

Whatever your reasons may be looking for a big house for sale, now is a great time to start your search.

Although the definition of a “big house” may be different for each buyer, in this post, I will share listings that are at least 3000 square feet of living space.

As of March 26, 2019, there’s a total of 59 homes for sale in Clermont(34711 zip code) with large square footage.
Price range is low of $290,000 for a 3290 square feet home in Skyridge Valley Subdivision to $3,288,000 for an 8946 square feet home with a lakefront home that is to be built in 2019.

If you are looking to buy a house while browsing online is ok, when it comes to actually find your new home, it’s best to contact a local, knowledgeable REALTOR®.

One of my past clients who only purchased a few investment homes texted me today to let me know that he’s buying a home from a FSBO(For Sale by Owner) as the owner did not want a REALTOR® and even made it part of the contract. His text read “I pushed for a REALTOR® but they just didn’t see the need(insert eye roll) but I think they’re feeling the pain now. Buying a home without a REALTOR® is not easy for sure but people don’t understand that until they do it themselves.”

Buying and selling a home is not easy. Realtors may make it look easy as they are the professionals who do this every single day. Unfortunately, not everything you find on third-party websites may be available for sale. If you’re trying to figure out what your home is worth in today’s market, don’t start dancing based on what you may find online. I always get asked how these sites can be so wrong, I wish I had the time to talk about them but I don’t. My advice is to work with a local REALTOR® who will use the MLS system to find homes that fit your criteria.

Hi Beth: I hear you about not wanting to go into lengthy explanations with prospective clients about why third-party websites are inaccurate. Because the first thing the client needs to understand is those websites are websites. DUH. They are not magical real estate fairylands with promises of riches, even though they may appear that way.

They are a WEBSITE looking for eyeballs at the expense of those on it.

Hi Beth Atalay - Great blog. Your investor hit the nail on the head. I sold more than one home by myself years ago.  But I had the benefit of a broker to lean on and the contracts were ridculously simple. It is not like that today. Poor Mr. FSBO he should have listened to your investor.
