One of my favorite parts of the National Cherry Blossom Festival takes place this weekend: The Blossom Kite Festival.  Join hundreds of families and kite afficiados as they build, fly and compete in this spirited event. There are plenty of kids activities as well.

Big-time college basketball rolls into Chinatown as the NCAA's March Madness Sweet 16 kicks off Friday evening with a powerhouse lineup.  Watch future pro star Zion Williamson and his Duke Blue Devils take on the local favorite Virginia Tech Hokies. And catch the Big-Ten champion Michigan State Spartans battle the LSU Tigers.
