Come on down to Northridge rec center if you have time to play a round or two of golf in the new golf simulator. This is a new feature of the rec center and the golf simulator allows residents the opportunity to play some of their favorite courses indoors. There is a wide range of courses available, 42 in all. They span prestigious courses like Pebble Beach, Torrey Pines and Castle Pines to our very own Highlands Ranch 18. As an employee of Highlands Ranch property management, we have been to the golf course here in town several times over the years. Sometimes it is nice to take clients on a day or to participate in the golf fundraisers for charity through the Highlands Ranch Rotary.
The golf room is available for rent for up to 10 days in advance of your time you would like to go there and play a round or 18. Up to four golfers can play at one time. There are practice opportunities with driving range, swing analysis and games. Lessons and leagues will be available sometime in 2018. The cost for 30-minute session is $10 for members and $15 for program guests. The cost for 60-minute session is $20 for members and $30 for program guests. The advanced technology will map out your swing and provide you with plenty of metrics for improving your game. The latency issues have all been worked out so your video on the screen will be very clear. The graphics have been notably updated as well, as compared to iterations of the past. You will bring your own clubs and will strike balls against the heavy canvass backdrop where the simulation is simply portrayed through a camera onto the screen. Best way to shoot golf inside.
