Wow Jeff now that is a special picture that you are sharing with us. We have snow in Denver over night so no flowers yet.
Hi Jeff Dowler, CRS wow.... look at those dynamic colors.... I guess you DO have fields of flowers.... beautiful.
Jeff Dowler, CRS What a magnificent sight to see - all those flowers in full bloom beautiful
HI Jeff Dowler, CRS - I remember you posting pics like this before. This must be so stunning to see and as Bob "RealMan" Timm stated, the aroma must be something else.
Hi Jeff- Thank you for posting this years flower fields at Carlsbad Ranch!!! Simply beautiful and I'd imagine even more so in person.

Good morning Jeff - I love it when you show these pictures of the flower fields. It must be amazing to be there.
Those fields are stunningly beautiful. I think many of us see sights like that one as a sight for sore eyes, after a wild winter.
Hi Bob "RealMan" Timm
Yep I get that. I love this view..but interestingly the flowers have no scent. And sitting there would be even better if no one else were around to interrupt!

It's pretty amazing to see close up, or from the nearby roads Barbara Todaro We moved to Carlsbad in late April in 2005 and got to see them. We were amazed!!

Sheri Sperry - MCNE® Actually there is no scent to these flowers, it's the vibrant colors that are so impressive.
Jeff
Hi Kathy Streib - I so enjoy seeing them and also sharing them with others. The photos are pretty good but it's hard to capture the full beauty. NOthing like seeing them in person.
Jeff

Endre Barath, Jr. I write about them every year...just can't resist, and the fields are such a treat to see over and over.
Jeff
Wow - great photos, Jeff! Endre Barath said you had an art gallery in Cambridge. Massachusetts. I am so impressed! Are you still into the art scene here in Cali?
PS Your name is the topic of discussion in Sondra Meyer's post, so head on over!

Thanks Grant Schneider - I enjoy seeing them every year.
I get that Myrl Jeffcoat The color is pretty awesome. It's an interesting transformation from brown dirt, to greenery, to brilliant color, every year!

Hi Gwen Banta
Yes, after I left the corporate world of HR, my wife and I owned an art gallery in Cambridge, 2002 - 2004 (I also started in real estate at that time). We closed because we had decided to make the move to California in early 2005. We still collect art, and enjoy visiting galleries and museums, and have gotten to know a number of artists here. We would love to have a gallery again...perhaps some day. But it's a pretty low profit margin business and leasing retail space is so darn expensive.
I'll check out Sondra's post.
Jeff
Fortunately, retail space costs seem to be going down some. Or at least it is in my part of Colorado. Enough so that I am wishing I would have signed a shorter lease.
What kind of art do you and your wife collect?
I could spend some time on that bench Jeff Dowler, CRS enjoying the view and the aroma.
