The Power of Google
Seems like Google is everywhere nowadays and I recently had a chance to try out another FREE service they provide. The service is called Goog-411 and is meant to provide a free alternative to 411 services.
411 Madness
We all hate paying the 411 Service Charge Fees normally associated with our mobile carriers because we usually need 411 information on the road and on the go.
The fees can rack up as high as $2 per connection and possibly another $1 to connect to a number.
Another aspect of popular 411 calls is the heavily advertisements that plague the call even when just checking for the current weather or getting directions you might often hear ads play in the background that can become very relaxing ANNOYING.
411 Joy
I actually love the fact I have a free choice now in 411 service and the best part is no ads!
Goog-411 also is pretty cool because it is voice activated which makes it extremely useful for bluetooth.
There are also options in choosing to recieve texts and map links sent directly to your phone, all very cool.
So I took a stand, I will never pay for 411 service ever again and would recommend anyone to check out Goog-411. (1-800-GOOG-411 / 1-800-466-4411)
