That impatience gene is with all of us.  Today, we have to be home for UPS because we have to sign for a wine delivery.  Quincy is not old enough to sign for wine.  We do have Cox (our Internet provider) that keeps their word on appts and often calls ahead to say, can they come now (earlier).  And like Barbara Todaro said, it costs more, and worth it become what is at stake is one's health...and a bargain when you look at the medical costs.

It is never too early or too late to celebrate a birthday.  I applaud that you are starting early...one should celebrate all month!  A

At your age, you are still among my younger friends. Stay active and make every day a very special day.

Hi Sheila, Entering each milestone year gives us time to ponder.  I would suggest that time should be used to celebrate your life. It sounds like you are on that path.

I am exactly the same age as my mom when she passed. This is the first moment it has come into my mind... ( I had to calculate it!)

I don't even think about that. I just keep on keepin on!!

Hi Sheila- I'll have my 70th in September!  The other day I was talking to someone who is just a few years older and not happy in her marriage. When I asked how she was, she said "I'm just biding my time." Yikes, I said...For what!!!!  I love that you plan these wonderful trips each year!!!! Go for it.

My family has a history of not making it to their 70's.  I'm very careful to know what my body is trying to tell me.  Never miss a doctor's appointment 

Hi Sheila, 70 is the new 50! Seriously, Bernie is 72 and is amazingly youthful in appearance and his actions. This silly aging game, it's all in our heads and some serious mismanagement of societal expectations.
