I received multiple offers in Hercules (North of Berkeley, Northern California) in days before I even I had the first open house!!   In a market that had hundreds of listings in the area I was nervous about how to market this house.  So I prepared like I do all my other homes and it turned out like a showcase! 

I changed the outdated light fixtures from the 80's and priced it right, just under $500,000.  Plus the fabulous stager Kym Hough from www.Staged-to-Sell.com did her magic and transformed it into a model home. Without the professional

well prepared and well marketed can defeat and market gossip about a falling market... today I was with a buyer tht looked at 17 homes ... over and over again .. he asked have these people given up.. don't they understand I want to buy something now... Listing agents lets get aggressive and market homes again... only two homes had flyer's and info packages none of some 10+ outside flyer box's were filled.. when I called the agent as we walked a home saying I have a buyer in ahnd ready to write an offer NOW please call me back I have a few question...hmmm still waiting on calls.. YOU sold the house because you believed you could SELL that house
