Tabby Cat Cafe ~ Lolo Lauren Jie-ye

Lolo Lauren Jie-ye is an amazing artist that shows the bond between a person and their pet. She takes the connection that these two creatures have and translates it into a beautiful piece of art. She studied at UCSC and taught locally to Elementary students about art.

The MAH ~ We’re Still Here

Santa Cruz’s Museum of Art and History is going to be displaying the Exhibition “We're Still Here”  This Exhibit is sharing the challenges that seniors face in our community. Also bringing solutions to social isolation.

There will be an interactive activity where you can make a postcard for our local seniors in the area that the MAH will go take to senior centers.

While you are there you can enjoy Local music by Robby and Friends which is an upbeat Folk band that will be playing on Abbot Square!

The Claraty Arts Project

The Claraty Arts will be showcasing a show called “Are You Here” where they will be displaying the arts of their students. Come by and see art pieces that explore the life of the West Coast.

The Claraty Arts Project is a studio and gallery empowering adults with developmental disabilities and encouraging self-expression through arts education, training, expression, and production. Its purpose is to advance a new, collective identity for individuals with disabilities that transforms that society deems as perpetual learners into teachers and leaders, and those often labeled passive and permanent consumers into dynamic, creative contributors to a more equal and equitable world.

Intern Allison facilitates a clay workshop with the studio artists. Last year was Claraty Arts’ first time showing ceramics at our art show! Thank you Allison for what you brought to the studio!
