Mr. Petrowsky,

I received your name from my sister and brother-in-law. A couple of months ago I began the process of getting pre-qualified for a mortgage. I visited two banks, which turned out to be a total waste of time. I really don’t even want to get into the frustration, but I’m done. Can you help me? Is there a time we can speak by phone so that I can begin my home search?

Rosa now has her pre-qualification letter, has been referred to a Realtor to assist her and has a referral for a home inspector.

 

I never did ask Rosa why things didn’t work out with the banks that she visited, but it doesn’t matter. It didn’t take her long to figure out that I was totally committed to the goal of her being a homeowner in the next few months.

Good morning Joe. This is very common, as most start out with their banker when searching for a mortgage. Some go with them, but the lucky ones, for whatever reason whether finding better rates or being turned down, find us mortgage brokers. We offer better rates, programs and service that they can’t get anywhere else. I always ask why they came to me because it helps me understand the customer’s thinking process and I learn from that.
