Sometimes those desperate ads work, especially if they catch the eye. I've resorted to them several times. One winter, Sacramento was fogged in for over a month. Things weren't moving very fast in real estate. I finally used the header, "Fog Sale," on a listing. It generated a lot of calls, and it sold.
