time flies when you are having fun

Time moves more quickly than smoke through a keyhole.  Last week, I was sorting through some old family pictures and couldn't believe the years passed between.

OMG Tammy. I could just eat him up. He is soooooo cute. Time flies but you appreciate it and those you love.

Good afternoon Tammy - yes you are right time really does fly.  You have a very handsome grandson to spoil.

He is adorable in his fire truck Tammy! It is so hard to believe how fast time flies by. My first grand is going to be 11 in July. 

Hi Tammy Lankford, Cooper is precious, you are blessed to have him. Time does fly by, like Endre Barath, Jr. said, whether you're having fun or not.  

Tammy- you must be having the time of your life!!! You truly are blessed. And I love that picture of Cooper in the car. 

It does fly by, Tammy. However, you are aware of how precious this time is in our lives - and that makes all the difference. I know you are savoring every second. D

Tammy Lankford, my Cooper is growing up fast and yet I'm thinking as he grows your energy goes up too. I love that photo of him in the Fire-Engine. To you and your family I wish all good things and much happiness.

Tammy Lankford, - I just had to come back to one of your previous posts to read about the little miracle boy in your life. Cooper is a God sent! The chapters of his life are so different than anything your daughter experienced, you or I. New life deserves all the love each family member can give. As they grow up, they deserve to have healthy food, shelter, and a sense of loving belonging. He's got that! I worry about my granddaughter's future too. I worry about my daughter and son-in-law overseas, and my son and daughter-in-law in the Midwest. I was surprised to get a phone call from my granddaughter two days ago on Sunday. She is 7 and was so excited because her mom and dad (my son) bought her a phone watch. At first I was surprised and thought that was an unusual gift. But after getting the whole picture, I know now what a great idea that is because my son and his wife are working and she's home alone with my daughter-in-law's son from a previous marriage who is now a teenager. She's still on Zoom with her Teacher since March and it looks like next school semester too. With the phone, she has four numbers she has permission to call anytime, day or night to mommy, daddy, me, or her other grandfather. There are parental controls so she won't get calls from anyone else. She knows how to use the alarms to remember to eat breakfast and lunch, etc. But you know, it' killing me to know I can't be there for her or that she can't come to stay with me. A grandchild is a precious gift and we have to love them with our whole heart and soul and have faith no harm will come their way. Blessings to you and your family.
