Sidewalk Chalk Drawings…that have nothing to do with real estate.

By

Okay, okay. I know this has nothing to do with real estate, but these chalk drawings are very cool. And they’re whole lot more difficult than they might seem. I believe they were all done by a person named Julian Beever.

There were too many of them to post them all here, so I quickly threw them into one of our tours (click link below).
But here’s an example...

--CLICK HERE TO CHECK OUT MORE OF THEM--

They may appear a little fuzzy in the tour, as the resolution of the images isn't very high. But they're still awesome! And click the PHOTOS link in the tour to see the still photo gallery.

Enjoy!

WOW. These are good. I love it. My sidewalk has the chalkings of a three and 6 year old I love those as well. Maybe my grandkids should keep on chalking. Never know...

Hi Everyone. Thank you for the comments

Clint: A retarded stick figure? Actually, THAT would be a challenge to draw!  (LOL)

Ted: You're right. But my words couldn't do them justice.

Michelle: Yeah, I saw them awhile back too. But I never knew where they came from, so I did a little Googling to find the person who did them.

Sharon: Your' grand kids probably should 'keep on chalking.' That's probably how this guy started.

LaNita: Ah, ha! So you ARE still chalk drawing! Maybe you shold hook your daughter up with Sharon's grandkids. I know, maybe do a chalk-drawing party. It could be a new way to network with the parents of your daughter's friends.  : )

Wow, those are really really cool. Thanks for sharing Michael. Obviously the artist has a tremendous mastery of perspective.

I can imagine it would be a lot of fun to photograph those...one could perhaps combine the two arts to create even further depth.

Thanks!

Hi Bryce: Yeah, even people who understand perspective could have trouble doing this stuff. But you’re right, combining this with high-end photography could get pretty wild. Hmmm…maybe you should give the guy a call!

Thanks for the comment.

Knowing these things are completely flat drawings is what is amazing and even more amazing people are walking around them. They really think there is a hole there!

Hi Todd: Exactly! It's pretty wild what this guy can do.

Hi Lynsey: Okay...I have to ask. What DO you draw with your chalk?  : )

Hi Virginia: You're most welcome. You have to wonder how he ever got started.

Hi Bryce: Stop by anytime. I still think you should contact this guy and do some real photos for him.  : )

WONDERFUL.  Photography is an art form, but I have no talent like this guy.  Thanks for sharing!!

By the way, since you seem to "follow" me around (HAH), I thought I better comment on your blog too!!

Hi Greg: Have I been blog-stocking you? (LOL) I certainly didn’t mean to. Maybe we just have similar interests in the ‘arts.’ But thanks for stopping by, and for the comment. It is pretty unbelievable what this guy does.
