Kudos to Ricki Eichler McCallum, member of ActiveRain, Texas Broker, and Published Author effective March 22, 2019! When I learned that Ricki from Corpus Christi who after 40 years of serving the people as a Texas Real Estate Broker in the Texas Hill Country and the Coastal Bend area was retiring to Northern, Michigan, and that she was getting published, I just had to contact her and talk to her by phone. What I discovered is that Ricki is just as warm and friendly as most people know, native Texans are that way!
I could hear it in her voice, how happy she was. Her dream came true! We talked about her book and I ordered a copy. On Friday, April 12th, I had a Broker meeting with my Board and we discussed ways to implement a continuing education class on the topic of, You Got Your Broker's License, Now What? Lucky for me, I received Ricki's new book, available by Amazon and took a copy with me for the meeting. I shared the contents of the book and all that were in attendance, heard me brag on about what Ricki has accomplished. In her book, she gives reverence to Brian Tracy and Pat Strong, a very well known strong Broker in Texas that just about every agent in Texas knows as the top Educator in the field of Real Estate. As a result of my meeting, I think Ricki can expect many new orders! I hope members of ActiveRain can support Ricki Eichler McCallum buy her book and spread the word to others who may be thinking about becoming a Broker. Also, you don't have to be licensed to appreciate the "step-by-step guide" she wrote which can apply to all who are interested in learning about the challenges of becoming a Broker. Whether you are a Broker in the business as long as Ricki, more or less, or a Real Estate Agent, when you are in this business, it is a BUSINESS and you are in the business to give back.
