On April 16, 2019, California Association of Realtors (C.A.R) reported an annualized rate of 397,210 single family homes sold in California in March of 2019 decreased 0.2% from 398,040 in February of 2019, and dropped 6.3% from 423,990 in March of 2018. While, single family homes values gained 5.9% to the price of $565,880 in March of 2019 from price of $534,140 in February of 2019, and higher 0.2% from price of $564,820 in March of 2018 in California.
There were 3.6 months supplies of available inventory of single family homes in March of 2019, down from 4.6 months in February of 2019, but rose 2.9 months in March of 2018. An average it took 25.0 days to sell a single family home in March 2019, declined from 33.0 days in February of 2019, but increased from 16.0 days in March of 2018 in California. The average price for a square foot was $277.00 in March of 2019 up from $276.00 in March of 2018 in California.
