Yesterday he was just hanging around on the roof of my shed. He seemed to be content and I watched and listened to him for some time before going for the camera. I never expected him to be still there once I came back, but he waited. I call this one Chirpi because he sings and is comfortable wherever he is.
Hi Sheila,
Chirpi appears to be well-fed. The Cardinal was my high school mascot.

That is one very plump contented looking bird. And, why not, he lives free on the land. There's no taxes or utility bills, etc.

Wow, that is so cool, Sheila!! Our cardinals are feeding right outside our living room window right now. Yours is just coming into his summer colors. Beautiful photo.

What a beautiful and regal bird, it appears as if he posed for you. What a delightful treat. Happy Saturday, Sheila. Hope you have some great plans for this Easter weekend, however you choose to celebrate.

Thanks so much Debb. It is pouring here now but I still found some some things at a yard sale. Tomorrow I am working unless no one comes. TY Sheila
You have the chunkiest chirpis, Sheila! LOL Ours look emaciated compared to yours!
The cardinals eat more of our bird food than any other of the birds too - you'd think they'd be healthier looking here!
