It's That Time Again:  Rabbit Redux Of Sorts

Pondering Again - Rabbit Redux

It's That Time Again: Rabbit Redux Of Sorts   And I guess it's down a rabbit hole of sorts.  Rabbit holes can be a familiar place but hopefully not so familiar they become commonplace.

You know it's been said history repeats itself and that happens with some regularity for me.  Hopefully more good things remembered than bad times that are best left unvisited for a return trip.   As an aside, I have revisited blog posts here on ActiveRain for old times sake, to jog a memory or to make sure I am not repeating myself too many times on a given subject.   It really wasn't that long ago when my blogging repertoire was heavy with market reports and such.  While pondering has been a part of my life for much longer, putting those thoughts in writing was until recently but an occassional trip.

Revisiting some older posts can bring some laughs, some fond remembrances and I have gained insights from re-reading my own words and by seeing comments left by others one more time.

I was thinking of John Updike - the award-winning author of Rabbit, Run, Rabbit Redux and others in the 'Rabbit" series as well as things non-hare related the other day.  Coincidence?  A plethora of bunnies?  Hey, I guess I could have been thinking of Hugh Hefner.  But I digress.

Anyway.  My mind hops at a strange rhythm at times.  I understand that to be so.  So in this season where minds may turn to rabbits here's to revisiting old favorites of all varieties.  But as I have said before - just visiting...after all you never know what you'll find on a hunt.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD - I am glad this post prompted a bunny memory - I was unfamiliar with the story of Robert and his rabbits.

And thanks you for the highlight within the BananaTude group too.

Hi Michael- I revisit my old posts as well for ideas and while I don't copy them, I will "redux" them. You could call it a twist of the tale.

Good morning, Michael. I was an avid reader of John Updike's books. Haven't thought about them in years until I read your post. I may have to revisit them now. Happy Easter... may all the promises of new beginnings of this season be yours.

Greetings, Michael, no bunnies or rabbits for me today. I keep thinking about that bloody-looking rabbit foot the little kid Haley is carting around in the TV series HAPPY!

Michael, your title is creative, I like it. I revisit old posts to make sure I'm not repeating the exact same thing, they're fuel to say it a different way in a new post. Your market reports were always top notch. No bunnies of the chocolate kind today but, the one that lives outside and hangs around the house made an appearance this morning.

Michael Jacobs - I hope you had a Happy Easter. As for those rabbit holes, I have dived down them many times and always learn something new. Revisiting old posts can be an awakening of the deepest sense or comical. I hope you have many occasions to laugh and learn and in the process never stop loving all that you are and all that you have been given. For you always give much to others. May you be happy, healthy, and wise.

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS - it looks like you had a big impact on the holiday.  Protect those feet - it's best if they don't become someone's lucky charm.

Endre Barath, Jr. - thank you for the wishes.  I hope the same was true at Chateaux Barath too.

Nina Hollander - I realize John Updike might not be the obvious choice for pondering...but what can I say???

Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Realtor Top 1% - I wasn't familiar with the television show "Happy" so an Internet search sent me down another rabbit hole as I found out about it.  I know you like Patton Oswald so I can see the appeal because of hiim and the premise seems something that you and others are enjoying.

Amanda S. Davidson - not the same but a bit different.  Thank you for the nice words about those market reports.

Yes, the show seems weird and whatnot but it's hilarious.

Good morning Michael Jacobs ,

I had to stop by and see what you were pondering these days. I'm trying to catch up with posts and barely making a dent in reading new ones yet alone going back to review some of past ones! LOL! Some day when life quiets down..just staying a float for the time being!
