What is that smell?

It smells like the Spring Real Estate Market is in high gear here in the Manchester NH area. What is that suppose to mean? That was the question from a couple of ladies at the table next to us as I spoke about the market with a local reporter at our local Dunkin Donuts. It was a warm day and a large Iced Tea hit the spot.

 

In the last week I listed 5 homes. I placed 3 of the new listings under contract in under 2 days. I placed 2 others home sunder contract and had 3 real estate closings. Those are the things dreams are made of the reporter stated. 

 

Now she was not there originally to interview me. She too wants to sell her home. She though, wanted to wait until the middle of June when the kids are out of school. That was under stand-able but when asked when she wants to move, she said the end of June to mid July. Now that does not give enough time to sell her home, find a home and move if she waits another month.

 

Not to mention trying to show a home with 3 kids home running the home? I let her know to list now, but we can set her closing date to the end of June or mid July. It is her choice. I also gave her a hand ful of listng sheets, all the met what she told me her dream home was. 

 

I left the listing date with a signed listing, an interview and a plan for her to go see a couple of these homes.

 

MARKET THE HOME: Marketing the home starts with setting a realistic asking price. Letting the seller know what it should sell for. Then to the actual marketing such as getting the house ready to show. Followed by a marketing program to attract the most possible buyers to their home.

 

Perhaps the most important message she wrote about, was that my philosophy to provide more personal and professional Service to my clients for each step of the Buying and Selling process did make a difference. All agents are not created equal. Every buyer or seller should take the time to hire the best, not just the biggest agent in town.
