Hi, does anyone know how you sign up with this company? I cannot figure it out on their website. I called and left a message and I emailed them... but they have not replied to me or called me back.

Update, I did finally get through to them on the phone. I just had to email them my info and she said she would let me know when she got an order.
Thanks for the info on how to sign up with them, I have had the same issue with them.
I beleive that they usaully just find an agent in a given area and call them up and gather the information from them
Hi everybody,
First post here but I've been doing BPOs for a few years.
Goodman dean is a great company. Easy forms, nice people if you need to call for something, quick pay.
They do give listings, I just go my first one from them 3 days ago! I had done over 100 BPOs for them before getting the listing.
I just got a call from them for a retroactive bpo. What? Well this is going to be my first "retro" bpo, but it seems to be pretty easy. They just want 3 sold comps dated back 1 year ago.
Kind of strange, but I will gladly do it. Anyone else had a request for one of these orders?
Carrie: are they paying you for this retroactive bpo? and how much? will it be worth it?
Yes. They paid me $40. I thought is was easy to fill out the very short form. Then, I got an email for clarification. They said my value was too high. So I changed it, and they rejected it a second time! So I finally called them to see what the problem was. I had to change it Again! Not off to a very good start with them, but what else can I do? I gave it my best shot. I guess I would say they are very particular. I hope this will not hurt my score with them.
Carrie---does it bother you that they are telling you how to do a BPO--clear capitol does that too! But if they want a BPO--why would they need a clarification and they keep kicking it back to you until you give them a price they want--why even ask you to do a bpo! Just wondering if that bothered you?
Yes it did bother me. I would be more willing to take it from Goodman Dean since they do give out listings. On the other hand with Clear Capital, I had it happen today with them. Seems like lately, they have been sending them back every time with clarification requests. Today, I finally told them (clear capital) that it was a BPO and I would not change my comps this time. They said this time that my "range" of values for my comps were to broad to support my value of the subject. They wanted me to go back a year, but on the last bpo they said to only go back 6 months. I cannot please them! So on this one, I am sticking with my original value and my original comps. They may never send me work again, but it is just not worth it to me to spend the extra time trying to please them. Don't get me wrong, I do not mind a few qc's here and there, but this is ridiculous!
The exact same thing happened to me with CC--one bpo was getting ridiculous and I just ignored the last clarification! I read on another blog that they did that....so I tried it..... and they didn't ask again.
I am not doing any more BPO's unless there is a chance that I will get a shot at the listing!
I know CC doesn't give out listings, but I did bpo's just as a re-fresher. I did bpo's 10 yeras ago--would you believe they paid the same--and gas was not were near what it's today!
Carrie,
I have registered with them over a moth ago. Nothing yet. No BPO/ Clear Capital has been good ... however mortgagelogic has been driving me nuts. They asked me to do a BPO on rush , interior $ 80. nice I call the contact person llisted ( he said he's the owner's husband that he's in NY and the house has tenants ) and wated me to do the BPO at 100K. because he's got a friend that is making an offer at that price . Value of home was in the 200 K , lowest 180K. Sold in 2006 over 250 K. This guy proceded to tell me that he will live a gift in the house. I said I could not take the gift and don't know what the value was yet and can't discuss it with him.
I asked when can I go to take the pics and inspect interior , he told me he will contact tenants .. . Ok so I go to the house and they won't let me in... I call the guy he's not taking the call. I have to go a second time... no one is home, there was no lockbox so no access to the house ///// so I called the company to inform them of the issues I have .. I send them the BPO as an outside one , I get all the values etc... I have been waiting for a month and is still shows on hold. The owner has called me asking me how come I sent the value at 200 K ? ( this was easy to comp located I subdivision with least 3-4 actives and 3-4 sold of the same floor plan ) in the past 4 months....., Now how the heck did he know what I submitted.... I asked mortgage logic and they said they did not release the info to the bank.... I just don't get this ?
Then the wife has the nerv to call me and ask me to go again.... I dont' think so. I told her unless someone is in town to open the door for me I am not going again with the tenants refusing to let me in.
what do you think I sould do ?
I would definitely not waste my time to go again. Sounds like you have already done enough work on this. Maybe you shoud call mortgage logic and ask to get paid for an exterior bpo.
I did and they told me they have to wait for the bank to get back to them ....
