Funny how in today's society there are so many ways to contact people and yet sometimes people can't get a hold of you. Here are the top 4 ways we make ourself available to the public and our clients.
1. Cell Phone, this is the first stop for most people and though it's very quick, when you are in appointments it usualy goes on vibrate. Good first try and don't forget to leave a detailed voicemail. Some people say hi this is Bob call me. Problem, I know 15 Bobs and they didn't leave their number or what they wanted and when I call back I get their voicemail. A better way to do it is Hey this is Bob, I want to know if we can meet on wed at 12:00 to go over listing my house. Then if I can, I just say yes on his voicemail.
2. Email, This is great because you can leave it when you have time , and I can read it when I have time. There is no having to time it and you can say everything you need to say. Email is how voicemail should be. I also suggest doing both then whatever I check first will get me the information.
3. Instant message, We have an instant messenger built into our website www.TeamQuintana.com and you can just type a message into the box and it will say if we are online. This is cutting edge and gives you access up to the minute to us through the day. If it says we are offline you can type a message and we will get it when we log on just like email. Just make sure to leave your phone number or email so we can get back to you.
4. Team, we work on a team and a big advantage is you can either get your questions answered by a team member or they can help track me down if it's urgent.
Communication is key and we are always looking for new ways to solve the problem of communication and availability. The key is for the public to use the systems in the best way. Leaving good messages and using alternate contact methods. Don't get impatient. The best agents are busy and well worth the wait of getting a hold of them. The agents available 24 hours probably don't have much to do for a reason.
