If you've been wanting to come to Jupiter Florida for an amazing beach vacation but can't seem to swing the high cost of hotels or seasonal rentals, well I've got GREAT NEW FOR YOU!
Off season furnished rentals in Jupiter Florida are EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE! With one bedroom condos, fully furnished, turn key starting at $1,000 a month, these deals are hard to pass up! Furnished 4 bedroom townhomes with garages, within walking distance to the beach start as low as $2,000 a month. And if you've been online looking at prices during the winter months, you're well aware that these same properties rent for 3-4 times this rate January through April.
Another advantage to the off season months is the lack of tourists in the area. Close to 75% of the population is GONE from May to late November. Instead of standing in line waiting for a table at your favorite waterfront restaurant, imagine getting seated immediately!
As with any rental there are some things you should know. There are condo / homeowners association application fees which generally run around $100 per application. Some landlords charge an exit cleaning fee which will vary depending upon the size of the rental unit. Often times there are processing fees as well, and any rental that is less than 6 months and 1 day are subject to Palm Beach County bed tax of 13% of the total rent.
So let's break down some of the best places to rent!
This is one of the best short term off season rental communities that I can think of. The condo association will generally approve a lease application in less than 7 days. Some communities can take as long as 30 days to approve. So if you're a spur of the moment type of vacationer, this is the community you need to look at first. JORC contains a few different options, the buildings which are in the furthest west portion of the community are 1,2 and 3 bedroom floor plans, Sea Lofters which are the most popular and are 1 and 2 bedrooms, and finally the Sea Rise buildings which are the closest location to the beach. Sea Rise are less than a minute walk to the beach and are 1 and 2 bedrooms.
If you're looking to rent for a shorter period of time... let's say 1 day to a week, then Jupiter Bay is really your only option unless you stay at a hotel. Jupiter Bay has on-site management which ensures a great experience and ease of obtaining a key. Units are turn-key and a short distance to the beach. They abut to Carlin Park's Heart Trail which is a short cut to cross beach road and access the Atlantic. In addition, Jupiter Bay has several tennis courts, a community swimming pool and a restaurant. Just outside the entrance to the community you'll find Double Roads Tavern with live entertainment, a great selection of draft and bottle beers and a full service bar. Outback Steakhouse, The Food Shack, Publix Shopping, gas and banks are in the plaza as well. The new Harbourside is across the street on the acclaimed Riverwalk and offers upscale and casual waterfront dining.
Another great option is Villas on the Green. They condo association is run on-site in the clubhouse and the manager Cathy a long time friend of mine is super nice. Minimum stay here is 90 days. Still not bad if you really want to get away for an extended period of time. The deeded pathway to the beach runs through Carlin Park's Heart Trail and is located on the far northeast side of the community. In the center of the condos you'll find a huge tract of land and a lake. Amenities include lit tennis courts, clubhouse, pool and shuffle board courts. Located just south of the intersection of US 1 and Indiantown Road, Villas on the Green is a short distance from the Publix shopping center, Harbourside, Riverwalk, movies, groceries and great restaurants.
Located on the south side, closer to the Juno Beach Pier and the dog beach is Sea Colony. A gated community with condos and homes just steps from the beach. These homes are much larger 2 and 3+ bedrooms with garages. There's a community pool, cabana and tennis courts. Lakes and walkways invite residents to mingle outside. Sea Colony is in close proximity to The Bluff's Publix shopping center which includes plenty of restaurants, boutiques and a gas station. The condo association has recently replaced the siding and windows in the buildings which give it a new refreshed look and feel. There's ample parking for you and your guests. You won't want to miss this community!
The Bluffs encompasses a wide area and includes various neighborhoods of single family homes, condos and townhomes east and west of US Highway 1 and bordering Marcinski Road. Ocean Bluffs and Ocean Bluffs South align with Ocean Boulevard and are the only Bluffs communities with ocean views. The townhomes can be found both north and south of Marcinsky west of US Highway 1 in Bluffs Marina and Bluffs River. Further west the condos overlook the intracoastal waterway and marinas. And lastly the single 3 bedroom homes north of Marcinski and west of US Highway 1.
The only place south of the Jupiter Inlet where you have direct beach access. With panoramic views of the Atlantic and sandy beaches, Ocean Trail is hard to pass up. These secure buildings have elevator access, generous private balconies and resort style pools. The split bedroom floor plans and 2 full baths are perfect for 2 - 4 people. The Jupiter Inlet and Dubois Park are within a short walk from the entrance of the community. And there's a lovely 3 par, 18 hole golf course just as close! Less than a minute drive will have you facing the decision of which amazing waterfront restaurant to chose. Amenities include tennis, fitness center and pools.
