Instead of wasting time drinking the day away, bring your little furry pal to the Paws & Claws Animal Care clinic to compete for fun and prizes. Cheer on your favorites in a miniature race of epic proportions.

Havasu Cinco de Mayo Chihuahua Races 2019
For 11 years now, Paws & Claws has hosted this fun Cinco de Mayo alternative celebration. If you own a chihuahua or know someone who does, sign them up to compete in the Cinco de Mayo Chihuahua races 2019 at the Paws & Claws office. Registration starts at 4:30 pm on the 5th, with the official race taking place promptly at 5 pm. All contestants must be current on their shots. Bring their records with them to show proof of current vaccinations. Costumes aren't required but are always encouraged. Let your little one's personality shine through as well as their athletic prowess.
The winner receives a $200 cash prize. Second and third place winners receive Taco Hacienda gift certificates for their owners. It's a lot of fun. Donations are also accepted and will help fund special programs provided by Paws & Claws to the public. For more information, please contact Paws & Claws at (928) 505-MEOW anytime before the race.
