Usually I post market reports mid-month but with a busier than normal market in early April I did not get an opportunity to post Oswego's real estate market activity for single family homes on any of my blogging platforms.

With only one home shy from 2018 the most important point was the increase in the days on market to a 32.9% increase from only 76 days in 2018. It was offset by the 3.7% increase in median sale price for the same time period. Did the weather have an impact? Possibly, or is the seller's market cooling down and are buyer's no longer willing to pay top price for homes? Time will tell if the treands from both coasts (East vs West) for the last few years is finally hitting the Midwest market place and of course, Oswego, IL finally.
