Have you ever wanted to make an infographic for YOURSELF? It's actually really simple, and here we break down how to do it:
4 Easy Steps to Create a Real Estate Infographic
1. Identify a Question Your Clients are Asking Online
Examples: Is it better to rent? What are the benefits of paying off my student loans BEFORE buying a home? If you are already blogging, then we recommend using one of your more popular posts!
2. Collect the Answers
Find multiple sources or blog posts to pull answers from then choose the best to include in your infographic. If you've already written a popular real estate blog, then just use each section.
3. Write the content
The anatomy of an infographic can look like this:
a. Title of Infographic – at the top in big letters - ask the question and capture the attention
b. Title of the answers – the title of each section
c. Brief explanation of answers – one sentence at most - keep it visual, not a blog in jpeg format
4. Design the infographic
You can use Photoshop, Powerpoint, or Canva to create infographics. For the layout you can find inspiration on google images or pinterest. NEVER download an image from google or pinterest though as they will often have copyrights attached. Only use these sites for inspiration. You can recreate layouts you like, and then plug in your own content.
Royalty-free pictures can be found on unsplash.com, pexels.com, or pixabay.com. For icons, google “Royalty free (topic) icons” and you can usually find some good ones. Be sure to find royalty free icons that do not require attribution Or you can utilize a paid stock photo site like shutterstock.com for icons and images.
