Firestone Complete Auto Care, in Flower Mound, Texas provided excellent Customer Service early this morning, thanks to Dan and everyone else who helped me get brakes and rotors in a hurry. They treated me with R-E-S-P-E-C-T which I greatly appreciated and the price was right and fair. Firestone on the corner of Flower Mound Road (3040) and Long Prairie Road (2499) really knows how to deliver with top-notch services, especially when it's urgent.

Any Real Estate Agent will tell you, they depend on their wheels and a car that is well-maintained. But sometimes an agent gets so busy tending to the needs of their own clients and meeting new customers, they just don't have time to take care of their own needs and schedule an appointment in advance. It's really nice to know that in Flower Mound men like Dan at Firestone treat customers right and they don't answer the phone with, "Unfortunately...." 


In fourteen days I put on 687 miles taking care of business - most of it in treacherous and stormy weather conditions. When it comes to brakes and rotors, oil changes too, I take that very seriously and so does Firestone Complete Auto Care located at 2704 Flower Mound Road in Flower Mound. I believe in Karma too. When I'm taking care of business, I treat others the way I would like to be treated. Today was proof - I was treated well without excuses and that's why I highly recommend Firestone Complete Auto Care in Flower Mound.

Good Morning, Barbara Todaro - You can say that again! "for real estate agents our vehicles are the life-blood of our business." They say third time is a charm... After calling three business where I usually do business and got the "Unfortunately...."  Dan from Firestone Complete Auto Care in Flower Mound answered the phone with a smiley voice and made me feel welcome right from the start. He listened and got me scheduled immediately.

Michael Jacobs - When I wrote this post, I contemplated with lots of thought about which quote would be appropriate for the photo and the premise for the premise behind the post. When I couldn't find the right one, I did research on the history of Firestone and I was impressed beyond words! When it comes to cars, Henry Ford easily comes to mind; yet there are other people in the auto industry that deserves recognition. Harvey S Firestone is one of them.

You are so right, the care of your vehicle is an absolute must. I even switched cars from a low clearance luxury car to a Jeep Cherokee because of the dirt roads, where some of these houses are located. Besides our phone, our car is one of most important tools of our trade!

I am the loyal type but when I'm suddenly on a waiting list or get the "unfortunately," it puts a very bad taste in my mouth and if there isn't a good enough reason, I'm done. Finished. I will take my business elsewhere. Come to think of it, the first place I contacted because I've been loyal since 2009, hasn't even been sending me postcards reminding me of services due based on mileage. I guess they really don't want my business since my car is too old and I haven't traded it in or purchased a new vehicle - yes I'm speaking of the Dealership.

Yes! It "wobbles" my world when I have car problems or computer issues! I sure wish I had a PC guy who lived next door. I think I would barter and give him space in my garage and even do something I don't enjoy doing any more like baking goodies or meals of his choice to have that type of service.

Patricia, it's always good to hear news like this as customer service now almost seems a thing of the past. I recently traveled to Chicago and had a road issue in Tenneessee...I left the following message on TDOT's Facebook site:

On Friday morning, 4/26/19 while heading north on I-65 during rush hour traffic just before the I-40 split I ran over concrete road debris in the left lane, destroying my left rear tire. Needless to say that it was a challenge getting to the right shoulder to stop and make repairs! First of all...kudos to James in truck #7327 for showing up fairly quickly at Mile Marker 82.2 and putting air in the donut that I had just replaced from the blowout ((considering that traffic and the fact that he was in the southbound I-65 lane)). Ultimately I had to travel to Goodlettsville to find a tire shop with the tire I needed. I met up with other travelers later with a similar road experience. Thanks again James! For what it's worth I offered James a monetary thank you and he wouldn't accept it.
