Home sales continued to ease and prices dipped too in the Anthem Parkside real estate market during February. Sales decreased 7% from January and were down 32% year over year. The average sale price decreased 3% versus January but was up 5% versus February 2018. The average price per square foot increased 7% from January, and was up 1% year over year for the Parkside. The average days on market was up 8% versus January and up 1% versus February 2018. The inventory of homes on the market is at a 1.66 month’s supply, still a seller's market. The 12 month moving average, $322,996 is up 7% from last year continuing a flattening trend over the last several months. The number of homes currently on the market decrease to 56, while the number of homes currently under contract in the Parkside jumped to 85, foretelling a strong report for March.
