Being involved daily in Jacksonville Florida Real Estate I get many questons about the market. One of the most common I get from people thinking about selling a house is what is the best time of year to list my house for sale?
In Jacksonville Florida, becuase we get to enjoy pretty fantastic weather year round, it's selling season all year long. But if I had to pick a month of year that seems to be best I would tend to agree with national statistics that May is the best month of the year to list a house for sale.
This is when spring is pretty much in full swing and just before school lets out for summer recess. There is truth in the notion that many families with school aged children like to move during the summer months, so as not to have to change schools while in session.
