Are gray paint color out? No, of course not. But, colors and home decor do evolve over the years.
Cool grays were all the rage 5 to 10 years ago.
Now, tastes have evolved to warm grays. These are often called greige...and that's a mixture of gray and beige. People often wonder how to pronounce it and rather than me trying to phonetically write that, I decided to post it here, so you can hear it for yourself.
I love greiges because they make a home feel welcoming (and not stark). And, most greiges are so versatile that they bring in both warm and cool colors. They tend to complement almost everything, so very versatile and easy to decorate with these shades.
Because of their warmish undertones they often make a room look a little brighter (and a tad larger).
Recently I wrote about one of my favorite warm grays - Agreeable Gray. Yes, I wrote an 2000+ word post on one color. The article is doing very well on both google and pinterest. (You can google it and you'll see it's near the top of Page 1).
I'm getting a ton of traffic from that1article. In fact, it's my 2nd highest post. I know crazy, right?
So last week, I wrote an in depth article for one of my other favorite greiges, Repose Gray.
Repose Gray and Agreeable Gray are fairly similar. Agreeable gray is a bit warmer and a tad lighter. I find that in most homes, at least one of these 2 colors work perfectly.
I pulished this article on Tuesday and I can see it's on Page 2 now just 6 days later. When I did a search on google, according to Google search console, it's showing up a t position 10.8 the last 7 days, so pretty close considering there are usually 10 slots on page 1. So I need to give it a bit more oomph.
I've designed some more pins on pinterest and hoping that will help. I've already gotten a few comments, so that helps.
I should also link to it internally from a few other posts. I forgot to do that last week. I guess I should also share it on Facebook. I was a bit distracted last week (and I'll update you on that good distraction soon).
Feel free to check out my article about Repose Gray here.
