Wherever you are and wherever you go have no doubt that you are under surveillance constantly. This statement of itself is far-fetched and even inconceivable but frighteningly accurate as I will reveal with simplicity the truth of this matter. The American way of life involving freedom, liberty and privacy is up for modification and it is coming in a subtle way using a non-threatening approach

Unless you remove the battery from your cell-phone it can be tracked plain & simple. Turning it off doesn't turn off the location dynamics. Consider how many cell-phones are in use today all-over the world. Furthermore, what parent wouldn't want to be able to track or contact their children making it acceptable to do

I visited with our cities computer tracking video surveillance head-quarters where you will find a camera placed at places of interest to the City for various reasons. Some to prevent theft, others to monitor traffic & still others for insurance purposes & monitoring uses public or private. So the City is a source for video records 24-7 I might add

Throughout the commercial districts and at just about every retail or store operation are private recording systems. They help prevent or reduce theft and send a message to behave serving as a pro-active deterrent and promoting safety at the same time.

For some time now the public has been able to purchase video monitoring equipment from major retailers and costs to purchase one have come down considerably and continue to do so making people say why not get one? Furthermore, they are easy to install and can be used/accessed via your cell-phone.

Your doorbell can be turned into a camera and other cameras placed on your eaves at every angle making you have a system that monitors 24/7 your entire property. There is no doubt to the value of such a system on its merit but it is part of a giant movement of capturing people wherever they are and go constantly

If that isn't enough, every person who has a cell-phone also has the ability to photo or video record anyone at anytime with or without permission 24/7. This can be entertaining, informative, used for safety or to prey on people for nefarious reasons and purposes.

Controversial and disputed as to whether they work for or against their usage never-the-less are being used more and more by larger police forces as mandatory. At some point, they will become part of the dress-clothing of every law-enforcement officer with few exceptions (CIA, FBI, Court Ordered etc.)

THE GOOD: Criminals or crime-doers at large do not like this. Good! Let it cause them to think twice

THE BAD: Why not film everything especially the very private "parts" of ones life and doings?

Humans possess the pleasures and the pains of life. Unfortunately temptations are constantly on the go helping us to become stronger and more disciplined thereby earning us character development or if you give in to the various seductions degrade and degenerate us closer to animal life. Video can capture both

I have noticed that having cash is being questioned today and can lead to being investigated as to why you have it if used in large amounts. How did this ever come about? Simple....criminal activity generates so much of it that having cash alludes to you being criminal until proven you are not. This makes no sense

If you live long enough, you get to see progress, change, break-through & advances that marvel at first but then remain curious for long-term effects. The medicines & treatments today become suspect tomorrow making us wonder who is making these decisions? As a whole we are but it does remain private too

THE INTERNET...a giant water-hole

Here is a good example to ponder. While you are using the Internet it is using you. Not noticeable by the public at first never-the-less it has been and continues to be a tracking device of the highest order. We need it so bad that we are willing to risk it being used against us. Can it be regulated? Could be impossible to do

Let each one of us decide what is or is not proper and allowed best we can and not doubt ourselves. I am reminded of marijuana usage in the sixties and the movement to allow it even while it was illegal. Decades later they find it damages brain cells that are unrepairable. Same with ear cells and loud music too

We can take comfort in where we go and why we go there and enjoy the care-free life as intended being responsible and accountable while doing it. This used to be effortless. Today, a sense of paranoia, assuming worst cases and suspicion has gotten a foot-hold. Video capture may now becoming our judge & jury....whoa

There are still places where the camera does not come.  Yesterday, we drove up to the mountains to find schist rocks for our garden...Not a soul was visible...on the other hand, maybe the NASA sattelite focused on two grownups picking up rocks...LOL A

The monitoring ... technology ... can be used for good (such as the time our neighborhood had someone trying to break into multiple homes ... and caught on a security camera.  Helped the police immensely) ... or bad, Richie Alan Naggar.  (The ways/times that has happened are too many to mention)  We can legislate use, unfortunately, we cannot legislate people's intentions and actions.
