I have to somewhat disagree with Deepak. I think you can make positive choices even from a difficult, not-so-enjoyable place.

There is certainly truth to that statement to some degree, Paul. But I'm with Kat Palmiotti in that there are times one can make positive and life-altering choices from difficult places.
