Mountain Shadows is an extremely popular neighborhood located on the northwest side of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Unfortunately, this neighborhood became the center of national attention back in July of 2012 when the area was devastated by the Waldo Canyon Fire.
Since then this vibrant community has been completely rebuilt and the Mountain Shadows neighborhood is once again a thriving community.

Comstock Village is an older neighborhood located on the northwest side of Colorado Springs. This neighborhood was developed primarily from the mid-1970s through the early 1980s. Comstock Village is located North of West Rockrimmon Boulevard between Delmonico drive and Vindicator Drive. The northern neighbor for Comstock Village is Oak Valley subdivision. The average home size in Comstock Village is 2800 square feet while the median sales price is $386,000.
Golden Hills is a small custom home neighborhood located on the northwest side of Colorado Springs Colorado. Golden Hills is located South of Rockrimmon Boulevard, west of Mark Dabling Boulevard and east of Delmonico Drive. The neighborhood is home to Golden Hills Park and has access to the Rockrimmon open space. Homes in this neighborhood were built primarily In the late 1970s and average 3,000 square feet with a median sales price of $407,450.
The Oak Hills neighborhood located in the heart of northwest Colorado Springs, Colorado. This neighborhood sits just north of Ute Valley Park and south of Woodmen Rd. The area was developed in the late 1970s into the early 1980s, homes average 3,772 square feet in size and the median sales price is $525,000

Oak Valley Ranch is located at the western edge of Northwest Colorado SpringsNorth of Vindicator Dr. and west of Centennial Blvd. This area differs from many others in the Northwest part of town in that it's more of a production home neighborhood, not semi-custom and custom homes as we see in so many neighborhoods in this area. Homes in this area average just over 2100 square feet what's a median sales price of $315,000.
Peregrine is a very popular neighborhood located on the northwest side of Colorado Springs, Colorado. This area is on the south border of the United States Air Force Academy and backs to Pike National Forest and Blodgett Peak. The area has some remarkable views of mountains to the South and city lights of downtown Colorado Springs to the east. Peregrine features a nice mix of semi-custom homes and larger Custom Homes.

Rockrimmon is the neighborhood that is probably the most synonymous with the Northwest side of Colorado Springs. This is an older neighborhood built primarily in the 1970s and the 1980s. Rockrimmon begins at the southwest corner of Woodmen Road and I-25 and continues South up to Ute Valley Park. Rockrimmon is an older neighborhood which features mature pine trees and Scrub Oak. The homes in this area reflect the Contemporary Style of the 1970s.

Woodmen Valley is another great neighborhood in the Northwest Colorado Springs. This area features larger acreage and estate style lots on rolling terrain with lots of scrub oak and ponderosa pine. This area is wedged between Woodmen Road and the southern border of the United States Air Force Academy. Homes in this area range from older cottages to full-blown modern custom homes. The price range in this area is also hard to nail down, as you can see sales from the low $500,000s on up into the Millions.
