In May of 2019, Realtytrac.com reported nationwide there were 426,159 distress properties in April of 2019 down 5.0% from March of 2019, and fell 13.0% from April of 2018. While pre-foreclosures were 35.5%, auctions were 44.6%, and REOs were 19.9%; one in every 2,433 properties homes were in foreclosure, and State of New Jersey had the highest rate with one in every 980 homes in foreclosure during April of 2019.
Pre-foreclosures lost 3.7% in the April of 2019, from March of 2019, and decreased 13.7% from April of 2018. Auctions declined 4.1% in April of 2019, from March of 2019, and down 8.3% from April of 2018. REOs lower 9.0% in April of 2019, from March of 2019, and dropped 22.2% from April of 2018.
