I recently realized that going to Disney World with two high school-age kids is very different from our previous family trips.
There are many reasons for this (which actually could be a good topic for another article), but one small yet distinct one was that my oldest daughter wanted to hit Starbucks as soon as we entered the parks.
I, on the other hand, didn't even know there were Starbucks in the Disney parks -- and frankly, stopping to visit one certainly wasn't high on my Disney To-Do List.
However, I know there are many people are very serious about their coffee, even on vacation, and part of that seriousness includes the fact that it must be Starbucks.
So I thought I'd write a post for people like my daughter, who want to be able to find a Starbucks at any time during their during their Disney trip as quickly as possible.
Interetingly, the Disney Starbucks locations are not actually called "Starbucks," which I think is a good call (and part of the reason I had no idea there even was a Starbucks inside the parks).
I should also note that it isn't completely fair to call them "just a Starbucks," because it is a more Disney version than your Starbucks back home. They offer a lot of uniquely Disney cupcakes and treats, as well as your usual Starbacks menu items. You can also purchase a special souvenir mug (there are different designs for each park) which have a Disney/Starbucks co-branding.
Here are the names and locations of the Starbucks in each of the four parks:
1) Magic Kingdom -- Main Street Bakery used to be sponsored by Nestle Toll House, but was converted into a Starbucks in June of 2013. It is located on the right side of Main Street as you enter the park.
2) Epcot -- Fountain View is located in Future World, next to the fountain (hence the name) just past Spaceship Earth. It only has outdoor seating.
(For those of you who are heading to Epcot and would like to have breakfast somewhere a little more unique than Starbucks, check out my post on places to get breakfast at Epcot.)
3) Animal Kingdom -- Creature Comforts is just past the Tree of Life as you head toward Africa.
4) Hollywood Studios -- Trolley Car Cafe is located on the corner of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard.
There are two Starbucks locations in Disney Springs, and here they are actually called "Starbucks," since Disney Springs is not a Disney park. The main one is near the AMC Disney Springs 24, and the much smaller location is neat the World of Disney store.
I hope this is helpful for those of you who love your Starbucks!
Jen
