Mission Viejo Home Values 5/19/2019

 

This weeks report on home values for Mission Viejo and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a Mission Viejo Realtor Tim Lorenz. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were up 1.3 percent, new homes are up 6.3 percent and resale condos are up 2.0 percent. The sales volume is down for resale homes 10.0 percent, down 14.6 percent on condos and down 32.9 percent for new homes.

 

Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 6.2 percent and the sales volume is down 23.7 percent.

Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are down 7.9 percent and the sales volume is down 28.2 percent.

Aliso Viejo Zip Code 92656 sales prices are up 4.7 and the sales volume is down 9.9 percent

Laguna Niguel Zip Code 92677 sales prices down 6.6 percent and the sales volume is up 1.0 percent.

Rancho Santa Margarita Zip Code 92688 sales prices are down 3.3 percent and the sales volume down 16.4 percent.

San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are down 3.5 percent and the sales volume is down 25.5 percent.

San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are up 1.0 percent and the sales volume is down 10.2 percent.

 

It is a sleepy year, in that the market is very slow fewer sales many of the buyers are unsure and sellers are disappointed.  It is taking longer to sell a home at this time.

It is taking longer to sell a home at this time.

 

Yep.  I thought our listing in Foothill Ranch would easily sell in two weeks or so, and its been over two months now.
