Well folks. . .I've been roped in -- Maryland Realtor Association has started REALTOR IDOL to tap into the talented agents all over the state. Each local association holds a Realtor Idol contest modeled after American Idol (without Simon Cowell, I hope). Winners get a free trip to the MAR convention in Ocean City this September and gets to compete against all the other winners from across the state. Since I'm on the Events Committee for HCAR (Howard County Assn of Realtors) and NO ONE was jumping up and down to put their heads on the block. . .ahem. . .sing. . .I felt compelled to be the first to raise my hand and say "I'll do it" (with enthusiasm). Venue is our annual Casino Night next week. Aww, darn. . .It'll be fun. . .anyone else out there wants to sign up just go to the website -- the more the merrier! . . .Your Next Realtor Idol :-)
