The pizza place in my area has moved from a Main Street location to a side street with no parking. I went last night wondering why mess with a good thing for a bigger location? The new location was formerly a kitschy kind of place with an expensive menu and not much service and they failed.
The appearance on the outside has changed to be close to what it was in the old location. The inside is also similar but a lot bigger but poorly organized and the acoustics were lousy. The service was slow and only two waitresses worked the whole place with a couple of kids bussing. The food is terrific and in my view they still make the best pies around. It will be interesting to see how this place goes. If I ruled the world, I would have kept the old location even as a largely take out place, but I don't so I hope Baba Louies stays around.
