Phoenix Snow Angels May 19, 2019!
In all the years I've lived in the Phoenix area (since 1985) I have never ever seen or heard of snow in May!! This morning I just happened to catch a news segment and of course I had to snap a picture! These guys were working at a golf course in North Scottsdale and decided to have a litle fun playing in the snow!
It made me smile! Hope it makes you smile too!

Anna-I am finding out in my travels what states still get snow this late in May. It didn't snow here in Nevada but there was a winter advisory for the mountains close by yesterday. It has been cold here in the 30's at night and just 2 hrs away it was near 100 when I left a week ago. I have had to use my electric heater again. I used to love making snow angels years ago.

Oh wow, Anna! Our daughter sent me a picture of their snow-covered deck yesterday... then again, they are in the mountains in Colorado! Although, I've often told her that there's something not quite civilized about snow in May and June, which I've experienced there more than once (in my sandals no less!).

Nina Hollander I would expect snow in CO. Heck we were still sking in May when I lived in Vail!! But snow here - rare rare rare even in Dec/Jan.

Wayne Martin very odd and I'm sure it was all gone within 30 minutes. We're having an unusual cold front this past few weeks and the week ahead looks the same. NOBODY is complaining as it's a welcome relieve from the 100's which we had last year for 3 weeks in May.
On the last day of my recent trip to Utah, it began to rain, and then snow. The snow left wonderful accents on the red rocks I was visiting.

That's pretty funny, Anna. Seems like our weather gets more and more atypical all the time. Several places in California got snow this Memorial holiday weekend!
