A Sod Kind of Day

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Referral Group Incorporated

I have a lot of work to do today. Last year my old plumbing had to be replaced and my yard was dug up. It was heartbreaking to deal with. I couldn't find a local place to purchase sod, so I found a farm and got it there. Ironically, it was cheaper than grass seed. The hardest part was cleaning my car after all was cut and placed. It was cheap but not wrapped and so today I am picking up more that will hopefilly be wrapped so I won't have a cleaning to deal with too. That's my big agenda item today.

I too hope it's wrapped. When it comes to cleaning up certain things, I believe prevention works best. hahaha. Sounds like a fun day shaping up...

I am trying to get back into active prospecting - the spring has been too busy and now it is time to lay the seed for the fall!

Sheila - Perhaps you could stop by a hardware store, and buy a large plastic tarp to transport it in.

Hi Sheila:

Hope all goes well with your sod project. Not fun to clean up a car afterwards but a tarp could work wonders. Are you going to share photos of the finished work?

Jeff

Hey Sheila when you're done we could use your help here!! LOL  We are waiting to kill the weeds in the lawn so Barney doesn't have anymore issue.  We're going back and forth to new lawn or synthetic.

Hi Hannah. I was floored. It was twice as much as direct from the farm but certainly more convenient and still cheaper than a bag of seed. I got 30 sq. ft. TY Sheila

Sheila when it comes to Manual Labor I delegate that to Gardner's and those in the know... so with that said, I would have paid someone to do what you did...
