Pondering Good Vibrations And More

Pondering Those Good Vibrations  This post title might cause you to channel the Beach Boys.  That's understandable to me.  I don't if it's my California roots but that 1966 song did bring back some old memories as the inspiration passed me on the road the other day.  A rolled down window(a classic image for a classic song, right?) captured for a split second as it was the genesis of this thought I guess.

But my mind was also influenced by the connections we make each and every day.  If we are fortunate we have memories of some of those good vibrations, a guidebook how to achieve them and that feeling when we realize one has happened and just as important knowing it's not the one.

The color is the keyboard, the eyes are the harmonies,

the soul is the piano with many strings.

The artist is the hand that plays,

touching one key or another

to cause vibration in the soul.

                                                                                           Wassily Kandinsky

The quote speaks to me that we can find connections in a variety of ways.  Music.  Other forms of art too. Learning.  As part of life or in the various educational opportunities we experience.  Participation in all different manners.  Even as a spectator.

Excitations. What elation.  Oh, those good vibrations!

Good vibrations can come from any number of sources, including riding in the car with the windows down and the breeze meaning the music had to be just a bit louder!

Good morning, Michael...you are killing me with your titles! A new song from my college days every day. Another one to get out of my head! But that being said it does bring back memories of good vibrations in my life.

James Dray - those days seem like a distant memory until the song appears almosr magically and then it is the 1960s - my "worries" were much different.

Kat Palmiotti - the volume is certainly a factor when creating and connecting.  Vibrations included.

Nina Hollander - any requests for the ponder jukebox?

Still love that song...who doesn't right? As for vibrations, they are all around us. It's so wonderful to ride the wave of good vibrations . Conversely, when I sense my vibrations are low, I consciously concentrate and shift to  positive thoughts and behavior. Don't want to continue to attract low energy.  Often, time spent in the garden, a walk, or a run along a trail helps hasten the change.

Nina Hollander - In the meantime I may channel Casey Kasem and the Top 40.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD - keeping those vibrations monitored and regulated is a part of life.  Finding the right cord is like that too.  Experience and instinct help.

Michael, I immediately thought of the Beach Boys when I read your title. Your post brought me back to my childhood and riding to work with my Dad on Saturday mornings. Good vibrations all around. Thank you.

I always prefer the good vibrations to the bad ones, as I would much rather be positive than negative.  I hope that your day will be enjoyed, my friend!

I saw the Beach Boys live at the San Jose Civic Auditorium in the 1960's. What a fun show and what great memories!

I had to smile at Roy Kelley's #1 comment.  We may be getting a little of the same kind of vibrations this weekend in Sacramento.

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS - indeed.

Endre Barath, Jr. - nothing wrong with that kind of thinking. Not at all.

Myrl Jeffcoat - the weather has been a bit unusual these days across the country.  I read that we may see snow on some in some of our ski resorts in California on Independence Day.

Rebecca Gaujot, Realtor® - good memories like good vibrations deserve fond memories.
