Red Nose Day is May 23, 2019...Let’s See Yours!
This weekend we’ll be gathering to celebrate a family member’s high school graduation. There will be lots of food (Texas BBQ) and a strong showing of family support.
Most reading this will be celebrating Memorial Day Weekend with some similar kind of gathering. Unfortunately, there are children in our great country who don’t know where their next meal will come from or where they will be sleeping each night. They may not have the luxury of quality healthcare that our children have.
Red Nose Day calls attention to the need for us all to come together to fight childhood poverty. Many have already purchased their Red Nose at their local Walgreen’s Store but if you haven’t, there’s still time to show your support.
~Over $150 million has been raised since 2015.
~16 Million children in America and around the world have been impacted
~36 million meals have been served
ALL of our children are our future. We owe it to them to provide a safe and healthy environment for their bodies, minds, and souls will be nourished.
You don’t need a RED NOSE to participate but you sure could make a statement with it.
You can go online to donate and watch your local NBC station tonight (May 23) for their annual Red Nose Day program.
And, don’t forget, there are 365 days of the year when we can help end childhood poverty.
