Most Silicon Valley REALTORS currently use Matrix within the REIL (RE InfoLink) Multiple Listing Service system. Recently, a new developement called Matrix 360 allows agents to access public records or tax searches within Matrix-without needing to separately access the Realist system.
Here is how it works, courtesy of REIL.
MLSListings now offers Matrix 360 – the latest version of Matrix that combines our listing data with Realist property data, allowing you to search across both data sets from a single, familiar system.
Matrix 360 brings together two of the most popular solutions in their respective categories: the Matrix platform and the Realist property information system. The result is a unified, property-centric platform that gives you a 360-degree view of properties in your market.
SEARCH TAX RECORDS WITHOUT LEAVING MATRIX
A tax search is now available within Matrix using the same fields as in Realist, but in a familiar, Matrix-style search form.
To do a tax search in Matrix 360, go to the “Search” tab and select “Public Record.”
MORE EFFICIENT WORKFLOW
The Agent Full display and report is changing – for the better. The main change is the addition of tabs just below the address line at the top of the page. These tabs allow you to efficiently view Realist tax data directly in Matrix, eliminating the need to launch a separate program and leave the Matrix workflow.
NEW PRINT OPTIONS
The way you print is also improved in Matrix 360, as you are now able to choose what sections (listing, tax, photos, history, parcel map, flood map, foreclosure) of the report you wish to print.
EASY, FAMILIAR USER EXPERIENCE
What is not changing is the location of key function buttons such as email, print, directions, and others. Matrix 360 is essentially the same Matrix user experience that you are accustomed to, only with a deeper set of data fully incorporated into the Matrix program that you are already familiar with and comfortable using.
MATRIX 360 DOES NOT REPLACE REALIST
Matrix 360 is not designed to replace Realist. You still have access to Realist and can continue to use it. For instance, Realist is available if you need to search the entire state of California; in Matrix 360, you are only able to search within the MLSListings counties and surrounding counties.
